Under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Abdullah Bin Hamad Al Attiyah A71AU The Deputy of Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Industry and the Chairman of Qatar Amateur Radio Society QARS, QARS has held ceremony on the occasion at the society location

The society has announced graduation of 11 new ham operators and awarded them the graduation certificates on their completion of the HAM Radio

It is my pleasure to be one of A71 member , i am really proud to be a ham radio who was trained by A71AN "My God Father" who is spend his days & night taking care of us until we reach this level of experince to get our call sign and be on air , also i would like to thanks A71BX for his time & effort to our coach during our practical training.

What ever I say it will not be enough to thanks them.

I don't forget other A71 group member who come to support , Encourge , and share their experince with us.

Could any of you advise whether I would be allowed an operating licence in QATAR? I am hoping to secure a role there soon and would like to be able to continue with my hobby. I have been licensed for 30 years as a UK class A licensee.

yes you can operate in Qatar coz we and uk having agreement but first come to us at this address with your Official papers.

Congradulations! Ham radio is a wonderful adventure full of fun. There will always be lots of experiences to talk about with friends and for the most part you never have to leave the house to experience the fun. Best of luck having a good place for finding gear and parts for your stations.
